Best pizza I've ever had, this place never disappoints. The tuna appetizer, bruschetta, chicken with rice and beans, onion dip, carrot cake and creme brûlée are my favorite. Waitress are always super nice too
Warm Butter Cake review by Nye
When the Village Tavern founder set out to make this a microcosm of what the world could be and should be I like to think that he dreamt up the Warm Butter Cake as the edible form of that founding principle. My girlfriends and I step away from our busy lives every month to catch up (often over half price wine, good wine at that, on Wednesdays- another shining example of how the world should be) and try new menu items but one thing never changes and that's the Warm Butter Cake finale. From the decadent, melt in your mouth cake itself to the perfect scoop of vanilla bean ice cream that accompanies it - this dessert is perfect.

Growing up in Asia by the sea I'm used to eating fresh seafood and calamari is one of my favorites. However since moving to AZ it's hard to find a comparable one but the calamari at Village Tavern is very close to the fresh tasty one I had in my hometown. Highly recommend giving this dish a try!

If warm butter cake à la mode had a fan club, my girlfriends and I would be the founding members. This dessert is so ridiculously good that we've unintentionally built a monthly tradition around it: gather, order the butter cake, and spend the next two hours gossiping while fighting over the last bite. The cake arrives perfectly warm with a golden, buttery crust and a soft, melt-in-your-mouth center that somehow manages to taste like comfort, celebration, and childhood memories all at once oh and with fresh strawberries….say less. I've had plenty of desserts that were good. This is the only one that has become a standing appointment on my calendar. If you're debating whether to order it, don't. Just do it—and maybe invite your friends, because you'll definitely want people to talk about it with afterward.

My friends and I come here once a month, and while the food is fantastic, let's be honest—we're all just waiting for the warm butter cake. Every visit starts with, "Maybe we'll skip dessert this time." Every visit ends with a warm butter cake and zero regrets. It's buttery, warm, dangerously delicious, and has somehow become the most stable relationship in our friend group. If this dessert ever leaves the menu, we'll need a support group. Five stars. See you next month, butter cake.
