Grilled Meatloaf review by Sonya
The grilled meatloaf was absolutely AMAZING from the first bite and was full of flavor. The meatloaf was seasoned perfectly, juicy, and grilled to perfection. You could taste the love and care that went into making it. This was hands-down the best meatloaf I have ever had. 10/10. If you love good, flavorful comfort food, you need to try this grilled meatloaf. I will definitely be coming back for more . Thank you for such a delicious meal.
Southern Shrimp and Grits review by Tashana
Today was such a beautiful day, and after an appointment, I decided I wanted to treat myself to something different. I've been to the RH Hotel plenty of times, and I remembered there was a cute little restaurant right next door with beautiful outdoor seating—Village Tavern. I walked in and simply said, "Table for one." 😂 As I passed the bar, though, I changed my mind and thought, "You know what? I'll just sit at the bar." And I'm so glad I did! From the moment I sat down, the service was impeccable. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. I ordered a cocktail and started with the arugula salad—and WOW! It was absolutely delicious. The shaved Swiss cheese was perfect, and for an appetizer, the portion was HUGE. Honestly, add some salmon, shrimp, or chicken, and that salad could easily have been my entire meal. But then I saw the shrimp and grits on the menu. Anytime I try a new restaurant, shrimp and grits is one of the first things I look for, so of course I had to try them! While chatting with the bartender, I learned that the chef has ties to Baton Rouge, and you could absolutely taste that Louisiana influence in the dish. The grits were some of the creamiest I've ever had, topped with jumbo shrimp and delicious bacon. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and just melted in my mouth. I honestly don't have enough words to describe how good those shrimp and grits were. They were, without a doubt, some of the BEST I've had in a very, very long time. Absolute perfection! What started as a spontaneous decision to grab something different turned into such a wonderful dining experience. Great atmosphere, incredible food, and genuinely friendly service. Village Tavern definitely made an impression on me, and I'll absolutely be back! ❤️

I loveee and live for the brick chicken and mash potatoes !!! Also the brussel sprouts and the Caesar salad ! It's soooo yummy ! It's definitely my go to every time I return to village tavern !
GF Spaghetti Squash and Zucchini review by Jen Self
I've had this dish a few times over the years, and it's changed a little bit to include a greater variety of vegetables, which I appreciate! There was lots of spaghetti squash with a yummy fresh tomato sauce, and a good bit of broccoli and cauliflower that were well prepared. I ordered salmon as an added protein, which was prepared perfectly. I was able to take a lot of veggies home to go!

So good! The onions and cheese were perfect on this burger. It has a chargrilled taste and is wonderful. The fries were excellent too.
