Village Tavern in Birminham earned five stars from the Institute of Sustainability. TISO helps business executives and their employees adopt sustainable practices that conserve at least 10 percent of the resources they currently consume, preserving the environment for future generations while also saving businesses money.
Village Tavern met the requirements necessary to fulfill the following TISO categories: General, Energy Efficiency, Water Efficiency and Urban Runoff, Pollution Prevention and Chemical Use, and Sustainable Procurement and Eco-Use.
